Last updated: November 9th

At Films by Brinley, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information we collect, how we use it, and the steps we take to safeguard your data. By using our website and services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the Films by Brinley website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and any additional terms and policies referenced here. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Services

Films by Brinley provides wedding videography services, including video filming, editing, and digital delivery of wedding films. The scope of services is outlined in each client’s contract, and specific deliverables are based on the selected package. All packages, prices, and deliverables are subject to change.

Booking and Payments

To secure a booking, a non-refundable retainer fee of $500 is required. The remaining balance is due four weeks before the wedding date. Payments can be made by the methods specified in your invoice. Failure to complete payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the services, with no refund of the retainer fee.

Cancellations and Refunds

In the event of a cancellation by the client, the retainer fee is non-refundable. If the cancellation occurs within 30 days of the wedding date, additional fees may apply. Films by Brinley reserves the right to cancel services in cases of unforeseen circumstances, such as extreme weather, illness, or other emergencies. In such cases, we will make every effort to reschedule or provide a suitable replacement videographer.

Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for securing all necessary permissions for filming at the wedding venue, including permits and any additional fees. The client must also provide accurate information regarding the wedding location, schedule, and any specific requests. Failure to provide necessary information or permissions may impact the final product and is the client’s responsibility.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices. Any modifications will be posted on this page, and the “Last Updated” date will be revised accordingly. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy regularly to stay informed of how we protect your information.

Use of Content

Films by Brinley retains the right to use footage from your wedding for promotional purposes, including our portfolio, social media, and website, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. By booking our services, you grant us permission to use and display your wedding film as part of our work samples.

Deliverables and Revisions

Final deliverables will be provided within 8-12 weeks of the wedding date, depending on the selected package. Each package includes one round of revisions. Any additional revisions may incur extra fees. Deliverables are provided via digital download; any physical copies or alternative delivery methods may be subject to additional fees.

Limitation of Liability

Films by Brinley will take all reasonable steps to capture your wedding as planned. However, we are not liable for any issues beyond our control, such as environmental factors, equipment malfunction, or interference from third parties. In the unlikely event that footage is lost, damaged, or cannot be provided, Films by Brinley’s liability is limited to a refund of the payment received.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our [Privacy Policy] for details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Changes to Terms

Films by Brinley reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the “Last Updated” date will be revised accordingly. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
